In 1787, Dr. Benjamin Rush,  America’s most respected physician national debate of his time and a signer of the Declaration of Independence, sought to have the protection of “medical freedom” inserted into the U.S. Constitution. “Without it; he warned with prescience, we could some day see medicine become ... an undercover dictatorship and force people who wish doctors and treatment of their own choice to submit to only what the dictating outfit offers.”

Believers in limited government can and should place their confidence, efforts and resources into supporting the efforts of the Benjamin Rush Foundation, Inc. to bring to the national debate the critical underpinnings of individual freedom in regards to  tour health care decisions.

Benjamin Rush Foundation is 501 (c) (3).
